Saturday Science Sessions allows young nature enthusiasts, eager environmental activists, and curious ecology discoverers to explore the diversity of our local island through 3 different camps! Each week includes outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, and environmental lessons.
Age: 5-17 years old (Age Specifications are recommendations, however, participants may register for any camp).
Fee: $35 /Session Time: Saturday, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
Sign-in/out: Please check in/out with a SPI Sessions Staff member when you arrive/leave.
Location: The Native Plant Center (2000 Gulf Blvd.) Ratio: 5:1 Instructor/Student Ratio
Activities: Art projects, Science lessons, interactive wildlife games, butterfly monitoring, recycle art constructing
Bring: We will provide snacks, water, and a reusable water bottle. Please bring a completed waiver the first day of every camp and sunscreen. It is your choice whether or not to bring a lunch.
Wear: Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind paint or dirt on! Closed toe shoes are preferable!
Swim: We will not be doing any swimming!
